Major reconfiguring of a lower ground floor recording studio into a residential property

The project is located on the edge of the South Hampstead conservation area and is distinctive due to the unusually long volume that projects deep into the site.

The tall reception space has been opened up with a double height sliding door opening onto a reconfigured garden.

The form of the timber extension steps to reduce the impact of the volume and create defined spaces to the interior.
