Ravenswood

Interior Design

An interiors project for a Victorian terrace house in Walthamstow Village, London.

Careful and well considered interventions were made to create a family home that enhanced the historic nature of the property.

By restoring the original floors, doors, and fireplaces the calm and characterful nature of the house was revealed. Larger interventions concentrated upon the bathrooms.

The main family bathroom was envisioned as a suite of spaces. The main space characterised by an irregular shape which aligned with the usable space of the room. The two stones are used to create a lighter large space for joint family activities, and darker private space at either end.
